I've always loved the Columbines, but this has to be one of my favorites. 'Songbird Cardinal' is one of a series, though this is the only one of them that I've grown. Unlike some of the others, this one doesn't seem to seed around and becoem a nuisance. I have had the one clump for about 4 or 5 years. I did collect seed from it last year which grew well, but hasn't bloomed yet, so I don't know if it will come true. Columbines will grow well in sun or light shade. Time is short this morning so I'll continue the Columbine pictures tomorrow with the others we grow.Jane
